India's leading publisher Hachette Books India turned 10 in 2018. For the identity, I designed a bold red “10” set in the font Futura, which pairs beautifully with their geometric "H" logo. The logo was designed in time for the World book fair, where an eight-foot tall number 10 commanded the entrance to the Hachette book stall.
On the client's request, a second more playful "10" was created, which was applied to a variety of materials, merchandise, and a series of 10 books, commissioned to celebrate the 10th anniversary. Only 5 of which were actually printed.
For the books, the 10 on the cover is die cut to reveal the custom artwork printed inside.
